How Much Paint? The Right Way to Calculate

The math is pretty simple, but don’t be fooled by the paint departments who have sales people who know nothing about paint coverage. This formula will work for any painting situation.

NOTE: I mention quart sizes in the video, a quart can cover roughly 100sq ft (assuming no accidents, spillage, or mess ups). A gallon of paint will cover roughly 400sq ft.

Also know this is for a single coat application, in my situation it was primer.
