Well Pressure Tank Problem??

I believe we have a problem! YouTubers, we are new to having a private well for water supply. As all of you know by now, the previous owner has built the house by himself, PLUMBING included. Our well pump goes off all the time. If we flush a toilet, it goes off, take a shower it continuously goes off and on, same with any other running water source.

The pressure gauge is busted, and it is jerky when in operation. The well pump is activated and does NOT stay on more than a few seconds at a time and as soon as it goes off, half of the pressure in the pressure tank (shown on the gauge) goes from 60 to 50psi and steadily drops to 42 psi where it holds a few seconds and clicks over to 40psi and fills again.

Tapping on the tank does not show water at the top of the tank, so the bladder must be intact, right?

Any ideas on what the heck is going on?

Also notice the plumbing work. Galvanized pipe from switch to tank, PVC from well to switch, and copper pipe from switch to the rest of the plumbing in the house. Obviously... this is an issue itself!

I know nothing about plumbing a pressure tank except from what I have learned on YouTube/Online, so any real advice is helpful!
